Welcome to our very first SHE. monthly! It is so exciting that our first SHE. Monthly is June. We LOVE June. It is our favorite time of year to dress! Okay.. We do love fall plaid and PSL themed everything… and winter comfy sweaters… and then all the spring florals. (Basically we love to dress for every season! But, June is just a great month to kick off SHE. Monthly!
So What is SHE. Monthly you may ask..Well just keep reading! SHE., which stands for Sarah Hensley Essentials, our blog name. The ‘Monthly’ part comes in because we will be sharing our SHE. Monthly every month! So get ready for all the essentials you need to make it through June!
No.1. The Makeup Eraser-
Seriously, We are not sure what unicorn sprinkled fairy dust all over these but they are seriously MAGIC! ALL YOUR MAKEUP COMES OFF! Just water and The Makeup Eraser! In Summer months these are especially important because if you are like us, we spend a lot of time around water and that means no makeup. We need our skin to look as great as possible and how do we do that?? We get all our makeup off!! So RUN and get yours! Available online and in store!!
No 2. Fashion Belts
A great belt is a huge staple in any closet! But a great belt does not have to cost an arm and a leg!! Cheetah Print belt? Um, YES! Black Classic? Yes, Again! Pair the belts with shorts and a cute tee to add texture and definition to your outfit or throw it over your favorite T-shirt dress! A belt is never a mistake in an outfit!
Been dying for a gucci belt and then literally almost died when you saw the price? Yeah, same girl same.. Still not sure my heart has returned to a normal rhythm after that sticker shock! We have the perfect belt that looks gucci but saves the green!
No. 3 Basic Tees
One of our favorite summer outfits is a basic tee paired with one of our distressed denim shorts, one of our belts, and a cute sandals. So simple, effortless but so cute. Seriously, it is like our summer uniform! Basic Tees can also be used all year long! They are fantastic investments and we promise you will wear them over and over!
No. 4 Sunnies!
In case you have forgotten with all the rain lately.. There is a sun and that sun shines a lot in summer that seems to be slightly delayed! Be smart and stock up on your sunglasses now because when Mr. Sun shows up he is going to LET IT SHINE! Protect those irises and be ready with some timeless sunglasses!
No. 5 Ball Caps
Last but definitely not least are hats. We love pretty much every kind of hat! Ball caps may be our favorite though.. Whether it is a ball cap with a basic tee, shorts, and sandals, or a ball cap to wear to the lake, in summer months we cannot get enough! And, not only are they super cute they help protect your face from getting burned, which no one wants!!
